These investments hold actual potential to yield fresh solutions to enhance the health of thousands of people in the developing globe, and make sure that everyone has the opportunity to live a wholesome productive life.Based on these results, Weingart and his colleagues offer several recommendations to improve medication safety alerts, including reclassifying intensity of alerts, especially those that are frequently overridden; providing an option for clinicians to suppress alerts for medications a patient already offers received; and customizing the alerts for a clinician’s specialty. The research team identified a listing of potentially dangerous drug interactions based on those alerts that most often transformed the clinicians’ decision to prescribe.
